Super Bowl and football parties are notoriously low key when it comes to fashion. It’s all about t-shirts and team jerseys and maxium comfort. That’s great if you are into that but that is so not me–even if I’m actually considering buying a pink jersey in the near future! So many girls look adorable in jerseys–I am not one of those girls.
I’ve put together a little Game Day Fashion Guide of outfit suggestions for The Big Game! They are only suggestions to give you a starting point in your own closet! Unfortunately, at this time, none of these are available for purchase through me–however, I will tell you that I created all of them at Wet Seal.com! They have a great “closet” maker where you can built the outfits and save them! Feel free to buy me anything you see below–I love them all and am so wishing I had some of the pieces for my own party today!
Like I said, fashion for Super Bowl parties is all about comfort! But comfort can steel be chic and fashionable! Everything I picked out is very simple–just jeans and tees or tanks. But pair them with the right accessories and cute jackets/cardigans and you have super cuteness! And don’t neglect the shoes! It is one of the rare days—and very rare party situations—that I would be in favor of forgoing the heels for a more comfy flat boot. Maybe!

Don’t want to show love for a specific team? The outfits above are easy to modify—just switch the color! I also picked out a couple more ideas that I absolutely loved. They show a suggestion for warm climates, chilly weather and icy cold!

Accessorized outfits for fans of either team? Now that’s going the extra mile! I like the way you worked extra hard to make this post look good.

I love that you like the versatility of your recommended outfits (and keeping creative yet supportive with the team colors!) I too find that incorporating your regular look with a few sporty accessories will keep you stylish yet in the game. Why not pair your sports t-shirt with skinny jeans (looove stretchy jeggings) paired with high boots! Regardless you will have fun, so you might as well look fun (not funny) as well. http://www.what2wearwhere.com/blog/post/2010/02/01/What-to-Wear-Superbowl-XLIV-2010.aspx
