My Picks for NFL Week 11
Now before you go reading my picks and making fun of me for my obscure choices, read The Stiletto Sports Official Guide for Team Selection aka “The Picks.” That post explains how picking teams is not always all bout the stats and numbers and all that technical crap. Half the time that just muddles up your decisions. Me? I operate on a more methodical, albeit whimsical (can you be methodical and whimsical at the same time? Sure, why not!), manner.
What NFL Teams will Be the Winners in the Week 11 Match-Ups?
1:00 Games:
- Washington Redskins (3-6) vs. Dallas Cowboys (6-3): Dallas Cowboys. Why you ask? Um….I like their cheerleaders?
- Cleveland Browns (1-8) vs. Detroit Lions (1-8): Detroit Lions. Hey, come on, no laughing! There is a chance this week! Both teams are 1-8 that means one of them has a shot at improving and I want it to be Detroit. Ha! It will probably end in a tie, unable to determine who sucks more.
- San Fransisco 49ers (4-5) vs. Green Bay Packers (5-4):
- Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (2-7): Pittsburgh Steelers, although you have no idea how much it pains me to say that. Still hate them.
- Seattle Seahawks (3-6) vs. Minnesota Vikings (8-1): Minnesota Vikings. Kinda like watching Favre kicking butt. And Adrian Peterson makes me happy.
- Atlanta Falcons (5-4) vs. New York Giants (5-4): New York Giants. If for no other reason than this post gets published on my Facebook page and I’m scared of all my Giants loving friends.
- New Orleans Saints (9-0) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-8): Tampa Bay Buccs. Yes I know, this is a sucker bet. But because I’m close enough that I could throw rocks at the stadium if I wanted to since I live, work and play in Tampa Bay I feel I must pick them.
- Buffalo Bills (3-6) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4): Buffalo Bills. For quite possibly the best reason of all: Buffalo accents really turn me on. Florida ones….not so much.
- Indianapolis Colts (9-0) vs. Baltimore Ravens (5-4): Baltimore Ravens. I know the chances of Joe Flacco dominating Peyton Manning are slim to none but I don’t care. I’m very bitter about the Colts win last week. And I have a new love for the city of Baltimore after visiting it in October. Got to see the stadium….from the highway…..which I thought was super cool….even though I see the Buccaneers stadium all the time. And drive by Tropicana Field home of Tampa Bay Rays every single day. Besides, the Ravens are known for putting an end to teams winning streaks.
- Arizona Cardinals (6-3) vs. St Louis Rams (1-8): If you read this site regularly do you even have to ask? Of course the Cardinals. Always the Cardinals. Kurt + Larry = me very happy.
- San Diego Chargers (6-3) vs. Denver Broncos (6-3): Denver Broncos. I have no real reason why.Same record, same division….one of them has to move ahead. Just in a Denver mood today.
- Cincinnati Bengals (7-2) vs. Oakland Raiders (2-7): Oakland Raiders. Ever since one of the first games of the season I’ve had a little soft spot for the Raiders. They are like, the dirtiest, roughest team or something. Very scrappy. I like that. Though I’m kinda wishing I had seen the standings and stats before I made my pick…. oops!
- New York Jets (6-3) vs. Patriots (4-5): New York Jets. See my NFL Week 11 Key Matchup Post from earlier today for more info!
Night Game 8:20 PM
Philadelphia Eagles (5-4) vs. Chicago Bears (4-5): Chicago Bears. Because Mike from Daily Shot of Coffee (also the behind the scenes webmaster of this site) gets very angry when I root against Chicago.
Monday Night Football
Tennessee Titans (3-6) vs. Houston Texans (5-4)d: I can honestly say I really don’t care. Have no interest in either of team or the game in general. I think I’ll go with Tennessee since my best friend is from there. And Chris Daughtry’s song “Tennessee Line” is one of my favorite songs of all time.

Don’t worry about the Bucs pick Jenn I can see how you went with them, I’m watching the game now and up until a few moments ago it looked as if the Bucs might have a shot.

By the time I got here, they didn’t have a shot……
And don’t get me started on the Steelers game. Didn’t think Kansas City had a shot. You know how much it pained me to pick the steelers….
