No, not negating. Just pointing out that it was a very redundant year in sports. And while it was great for fans of those teams, in general, it was pretty anticlimatic. The Tar Heels winning the championship wasn’t nearly as memorable or exciting at Syracuse/UConn’s 6OT game or Michigan State making it to the final four. The Penguins win wasn’t as anticipated as their matchup with the Capitols. The Lakers Finals series wasn’t as edge-of-the-seat as their series’ leading into the finals. And the Yankees win, well, it didn’t really come as a shock to the sports world.

Kind of disappointed, I feel like your negating all of the hard work that these teams put in to get to their championship. Just because they won again, doesn’t mean it was easy.
