Welcome to my 6th annual Thank You post. The list is quite long, I mean it was long 6yrs ago so now its REALLY long
In honor of me FINALLY feeling better, a little thankful Thursday post complete with the really fun “everything is amazing and no one is happy” video by Louis CK!
Normally I don’t concern myself with writing about world news. I’ve never been good at hard news. And half the time I barely know what is going on. But this is different.
I also noticed that I had an overwhelming response to my last post about Flight 1549 and I thought I should write follow-up that gives a bit more information about what happened Thursday, January 15, 2009.
The Miracle on the Hudson.
I was in the middle of writing about Thankful Thursdays and my 100th celebration and happened to turn on the television. And was reminded about what being thankful is all about.
I just wanted to take a moment to really process the enormity of what happened today with the U.S. Airways Flight 1549 that went down in the Hudson River almost immediately after take-off.
It is a miracle that everyone got off the plane and will be okay. It is truly an amazing story that could have been a tragic disaster.
As part of my 100th Post Celebration, I’m bringing you my first Thankful Thursday!
Most of you know of my other blogging adventures (and if you didn’t, well now you do). In those travels I came across quite a few great ideas like the theme days of the week: i.e. Wordless Wednesdays, Sunday Fundays, Thankful Thursdays.
I read a lot of blogs all week, some good, some not so much. Normally Thankful Thursdays will honor my fave five blogs of the week but this week I’m going to be giving thanks to everyone that has helped this site grow from top commentors to my favorite communities!

There are 9.2 quintillion ways to fill out a bracket, literally. Well, I think there are even more Bracketology 101 how-to lists out there. Here is a breakdown of the most common techniques!
The 2009 NCAA basketball tournament is only days away and I am beyond dipsy about it! But just in case you aren’t, here are 8 reasons you should be!
